Vintage condition, explained

Condition Guide

All Bags for Breakfast pieces are vintage and pre-loved. That means: they’ve lived a life, and they may show it — in the best, most honest way.

Because “condition” is inherently subjective, we don’t use a condition rating system. Instead, we focus on full transparency: detailed photos + clear descriptions + facts you can actually judge

The Standard Behind Every Listing

Every product page is thoughtfully prepared to help you shop with complete confidence, featuring multiple angles, close-ups, and detailed imagery to capture the piece accurately. Any visible wear or imperfections are clearly highlighted—never concealed—and each description is written to reflect exactly what you see. If you’d like an additional detail photo before purchasing, simply contact us at support@bagsforbreakfast.co, or DM us on instagram @bags.for.breakfast, and we’ll do our best to assist.

Natural Signs of Age & Wear

Depending on the bag and its age, minor wear may show up as: light surface scratches on hardware, softening of corners or edges, gentle creasing or natural leather patina, faint interior marks or wear to lining, subtle color variation from age and use, slight loss of structure. These are normal signs of a bag that’s been loved.

What We Always Disclose

If we see it, we show it. Listings will always include clear callouts that include, but are not limited to: corner wear, scuffs, cracks, peeling, or heavy rubbing, noticeable stains, ink marks, discoloration, water marks, strong odors (smoke, perfume, storage, etc.) significant scratches, dents, tarnish, missing hardware details, interior damage.
